The Jaw-breaking Order-Yelling and Know-it-all Intoner of of Leather-Lunged Lecturing, Excoriating and Rank-Rattling, better known by the acronym of the J.O.Y.K.I.L.L.E.R., is a male anthropomorphic seagull.

Description[]

According to one account, the J.O.Y.K.I.L.L.E.R. is a Junior Woodchucks senior officer who, at the end of the Summer of 1971, led Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck's Troop to put on a "tent-raising flabbergaster" before some of Duckburg's gathered elite. Other sources, however, hold that “J.O.Y.K.I.L.L.E.R.” was only a title held by Philodemus Gentlefogg, who was the one to lead the tent-raising show.

Behind the scenes[]

The J.O.Y.K.I.L.L.E.R. appears in the 1972 Carl Barks-written and Kay Wright-drawn story Storm Dancers. In the story's 1992 remake drawn by Daan Jippes, the “J.O.Y.K.I.L.L.E.R.” is none other than the usual Grand Mogul, Philodemus Gentlefogg. It is, at present, unknown which version is closer to Carl Barks's original storyboard.
