James is an anthropomorphic eagle from Sir Donald's World.
Description[]
James is a soft-spoken, placid butler living in Sir Donald's World's version of Duckburg. He was hired in 2002 by Sir Donald Duck to be his private butler and housekeeper in his villa. With an endlessly friendly and peaceful attitude, James served Donald, even keeping track of his hobbies' schedule for him.
Behind the scenes[]
James was only ever seen in the 2003 comic Donald Duck and the Alternate Lives.
Due to James being at least in his 30's when Sir Donald's World's timeline diverged from the Prime Universe's, it is likely that a counterpart of James exists in the Prime Universe, though he may not be a butler there.
