John Darling is a human man.
Born in the beginning of the 20th century, John Darling was one of the children of George and Mary Darling. Fascinated with stories of Peter Pan, told endlessly by his sister Wendy, John otherwise strained to act like a responsible adult in most circumstances, to sometimes ridiculous extents. Like his siblings, from 1910 onwards, John genuinely met Peter Pan and travelled repeatedly to Neverland with him. What happened to him as he grew up is unknown, although he was no longer living in the Darling House by 1941.
Behind the scenesEdit
John Darling (based on the character of the same name in James Matthew Barrie's Peter Pan novel and play) first appeared in the 1953 animated feature Peter Pan.
