Lambert is a lion.
Description[]
Due to a clerical error surrounding his name, Lambert was delivered to a flock of sheep by Mr. Stork when he was a young cub. As Mr. Stork tried to work out how this had occurred, Lambert wandered off and found Mrs. Sheep, the only female of the flock for whom a lamb had not been brought. The good-natured Lambert quickly bonded with her, and Mrs. Sheep quickly overlooked the difference in their species to adopt Lambert as her child. This newly found devotion was so great that, when Mr. Stork attempted to reclaim Lambert for delivery to a lion mother, Mrs. Sheep promptly drove him off.
Lambert proved a gentle soul, so much so that the lambs he had been brought to the flock with found him an easy target for bullying over his differences. Even as a full-grown lion, Lambert would meekly endure this treatment, finding solace in the unwavering affection of Mrs. Sheep. When a wolf threatened the flock, Lambert was initially too frightened to move, even as the predator dragged away and later chased Mrs. Sheep. However, his mother's plaintive cries eventually awakened Lambert's natural ferocity, and he let out a roar, charged the wolf, and promptly...headbutted him over the edge of a cliff.
The rest of the flock, who had fled for their own safety, promptly praised Lambert for this act of heroism, much to the pleasure of Mrs. Sheep, while the wolf was left dangling from a berry bush.
