Land of the Lost is a comic story written by Mark Evanier and drawn by Jack Manning. It features Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, and cameos by Gyro Gearloose and Goofy, as well, in their debut, as well as the Creator of Geographitron, Lieutenant Locator Fisher and the Locator Captain.

A mysterious extraterrestrial uses a Space Warp to transport Pluto to his planet of Lostralia. Mickey Mouse is off on a strange journey as he seeks out his pet and finds much, much more than he bargained for…
Behind the scenes[]
This story was only ever printed in the United States of America in 1973 in Mickey Mouse #143, though it was also printed in English in the Australian Mickey Mouse #208.
The final panel features cameo appearances by Gyro Gearloose and Goofy, now working as stage-actors in a performance of The Oddest Couple (a play from the real world, and whose main characters are broadly well-suited to the personalities of Gyro and Goofy).
