References[]
- A ledger appears with the year "1954" written on it. This is likely intended to be an indicator of when the story takes place.[note 1]
Behind the scenes[]
Last Sled to Dawson was written, drawn, and inked by Don Rosa. It was first published on March the 22nd, 1988. The story was written as a sequel to Back to the Klondike, though the use of Soapy Slick as the story's antagonist was inspired by North of the Yukon.

- ↑ Don Rosa stated, "There is a tremendous amount of lil' hidden tidbits in the stories; one detail that pinpointed the year a story was taking place was a ledger on page one of 'Last Sled to Dawson' which read '1954'... and I think I did the same thing with some ledger books in 'Cash Flow'" according to "Don Rosa on Himself"
