Launchpad Theme Song Takeover is a short cartoon webcast. Part of the Disney Theme Song Takeover series, it was written by Francisco Angones and directed by Vince Aparo and features DuckTales 2017's Launchpad McQuack.

PlotEdit

Launchpad McQuack finds himself inside the theme song of DuckTales 2017, forced to sing along, though he does not know the words and has little clue quite what is going on.

Behind the scenesEdit

This short was released on the 27th of June on the Disney Channel's YouTube Channel. As it breaks the fourth wall, it is considered non-canonical on this Wiki until further notice.

The short was animated by Luciano Herrera, who posted extensively on Twitter about the making of the short. He revealed that the scooter Launchpad is seen driving was modeled after that of Herrera's own grandfather.

A second DuckTales 2017-themed episode of Disney Theme Song Takeover was released in late July, now starring Flintheart Glomgold. The short in question, Glomgold Theme Song Takeover, was not as overly fourth-wall-breaking as the Launchpad one, and, unlike it, can be considered canonical.
