The Legion of the Chartreuse Tortoise was a malevolent secret organization.

Description

The Legion of the Chartreuse Tortoise were a "knockoff" of the Horde of the Violet Hare, who, learning of the Horde's purpose of finding the Fire Eye of Atlantis, began seeking it out for themselves. The Legion was obviously not as well-funded as the Horde, with two of its members, Fluffy and Mervin, being forced to borrow their unaware flatmate Debbie's phone to carry out evil communications.

After running out of money (as they had none to begin with), the Legion was forced to cease their search for the Fire Eye of Atlantis. Also, Debbie threatened to send Fluffy and Mervin to a local animal shelter if they continued to steal her phone. They posted a farewell message in the comment section of the blog of Joe Torcivia, then disbanded the organization.
