Description
  +
A young businessman in the 2017 Continuum's Duckburg, Mark Beaks is the very type of the young, 'hip' billionaire who spends all his time on social media. Beaks is a shallow man whose company, Waddle, was built on a lie — he created false rumors about a genius project and used them to get others to invest in it. Nonetheless, he has established his position as an influential businessman, at least within Duckburg, to the dismay of Scrooge McDuck and Flintheart Glomgold.
Mark Beaks is a brilliant and eccentric billionaire and founder of the world's largest computer and tech innovating empire. Unlike his rivals who care about wealth and business, Mark is an attention-seeker and cares more about social status and popularity to the point where he would stage a fake kidnapping and robbery of his own company to boost his social network status to become more buzzworthy.

He is also shown to be more petty than Flintheart as he got angry when Dewey gave him his 2:15 almond latte at 2:14, or almost getting himself killed just to save his last smartphone. He is suppose to reflect all those who passed through life using sleaziness and deceit to gain riches without caring how many are harmed in the end.

Mark Beaks is also shown to be inconsiderate and self-centered where after Huey and Dewey saved his life, he didn't thank them for what they had done. Instead, he fired them as a way to cover up the truth that "Ta-Da!" was a lie and isn't above gaslighting the truth into making it look like Huey and Dewey are lying for being mad because he fired them.

Rise and Fortune
At some point in the recent past, Mark Beaks founded Waddle and runs the company as a CEO. He prioritized a more "chill" work-environment filled with unusual and wacky quirks and oddities, such as slides and candy desks. Due to his companies success, Mark became a multi-millionaire at a young age.

Trivia
* Mark Beaks is a parody of both Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerburg.

* He may have been inspired by John D. Rockerduck, one of Scrooge's rivals from the Carl Barks comics, who is an example of a modern day billionaire, who himself was parodied off of John D. Rockefeller.

*Although he is neutral, Mark Beaks will be a major villain in future episodes.
