McDuck Manor is the mansion home of Scrooge McDuck in the 2017 Continuum. It is a counterpart to the main continuity's McDuck Manor.

Description[]

McDuck Manor is a large, luxurious mansion located in Duckburg; it is surrounded by a park. It is the home of Scrooge McDuck and also where he houses his employee Betina Beakley and the children in his care (Huey, Dewey, Louie and Webby). McDuck Manor is rather old and it is filled with artifacts gathered by Scrooge over the years, which, while normal at first glance, are for the most part booby-trapped, cursed or haunted, making the house as full of adventure as Scrooge himself.

Behind the scenes[]

McDuck Manor was first seen in the first official episode of DuckTales 2017, entitled Woo-Hoo!. The Manor was redesigned for the series, now resembling a larger, more classical version of the Manor as seen in the original DuckTales series.

Quote by Angones[]

“One of the main things that we all talked about in trying to get everything coming from a place of character was you know, how when you go to your grandparents house, it’s just full of all this old stuff just covered wall-to-wall with like stuff that they got 30 years ago and 60 years ago. We thought, ‘Scrooge McDuck’s house would be equally full of that, except most of it would be haunted or cursed.’”
