The McDuck Summer Castle is a castle located in Scotland, formerly belonging to the Clan McDuck.

Description[]

This medieval-looking castle was one of the several castles belonging to the McDucks, and is located somewhere in Scotland. In the 19th century, it was inherited by Gummo McDuck, an uncharacteristically carefree McDuck who filled it with pratical jokes of all kinds. The other McDucks disapproved of Gummo's lifestyle but kept this opinion to themselves, because Gummo allowed them to use the castle as a summer residence; Scrooge McDuck notably spent many of his childhood summers there. Unfortunately, the carefree Gummo repeatedly forgot to pay his taxes, leading to the castle being seized by a local bank after his death.

Behind the scenes[]

This castle was only ever seen in the 1988 story The Daft McDuck.
