Mickey Mouse's Adventures in Palombia is an illustration by Daan Jippes. It features Mickey Mouse, Eega Beeva, Goofy, the Palombian Marsupilami, the Jaguar and the Palombian Monkeys.
Description[]
The cartoon depicts an irate Marsupilami rescuing Mickey Mouse, Goofy and Eega Beeva (in adventurer's garb as they explore the Palombian jungle) from the Jaguar.
Behind the scenes[]
This piece was created by Daan Jippes in 2014 and posted on his Facebook page. It exists both in color and in black-and-white.
It is similar to Meeting of Two Worlds, which features the chance meeting of Spirou & Fantasio and Donald Duck and Scrooge McDuck. Two years earlier, Jippes had also authored Rarest of the Rare, an official seven-page Donald Duck story in which Donald attempts to capture a long-tailed monkey that is clearly meant to be a relative of the Marsupilami.
Trivia[]
In 1992, Marsupilami became part of the Disney family and his first television animated debut for the variety animated series called Raw Toonage. In that series, Marsupilami can now speak and has a gorilla sidekick named Maurice!
