Mickey Mouse and the Coat of Christmas Magic is a comic story written and drawn by Casty. It features Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Clarabelle Cow, Horace Horsecollar, Peg-Leg Pete, and, in their debuts, Ebenezer Scrunge, Jasmine Jingle and her siblings, Bertram, and his wife. Scrooge McDuck and George Washington are also mentioned, and a likeness of Santa Claus is glimpsed.

A mistake at a restaurant ends with Mickey Mouse in possession of a bewitched cloak that seems to give its owner an endless supply of money. As he goes around the town testing its powers with new friend Jasmine Jingle, Mickey draws the attention of Peg-Leg Pete
