Mickey Mouse and the Ghost of Man-Eater Mountain is a comic story written by Don Christensen and drawn by Bill Wright. It features Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Vladimius Von Petrox and (in their debut) Professor Bernard, Melody Bernard, Matthew Bernard, Killer Gurk and Tiger Turk.
Mickey Mouse and Goofy travel to Maneeto Mountain to meet one of Mickey's old college professors, Professor Bernard, now an innkeeper. They arrive to find Maneeto Mountain deserted by the tourists because of the rumors of a man-eating demon, Professor Bernard presumed dead as one of the demon's victims, and a Mr Von Petrox who may or may not be a disguised Peg-Leg Pete roaming the premises… Together with Bernard's brother and daughter, Mickey sets out to solve the mystery.
Behind the scenesEdit
This story was first printed in 1958 in four chapters between Mickey Mouse #129 and #132. After being reprinted in this form in the Australian Walt Disney's Comics #62 through #65, it was reprinted all at once in Mickey Mouse #314.
