Mickey Mouse and the Unreachable Island, also known as simply The Unreachable Island, and entitled Topolino sull'isola inaccessibile in the original Italian, is a comic story written by Fausto Vitaliano and drawn by Silvia Ziche. It features Mickey Mouse, Goofy, the Phantom Blot, Horace Horsecollar, Chief O'Hara, Minnie Mouse, and, in their debuts, Goofo Goofone and the Shrew Mayor.
Plot[]
Mickey Mouse invents excuses to not hang out with his friends when they all invite him to different events. So far, so sitcom, but things take a turn for the worse when the Phantom Blot gives an ultimatum to the Mayor of Mouseton that if they do not exile Mickey to the Unreachable Island, he will make it rain with “Shrinkalution”, a substance that shrinks anything it touches. Hence is Mickey banished, but Chief O'Hara, Minnie Mouse and Goofy won't give up so easily…
