Description[]
The Kingdom of Mintavia is a quaint little European monarchy whose main specificity is that its money is primarily gold coins to this day. In 1982, a group of enterprising thieves used this to progressively amass all the gold, disguising their thefts by replacing each coin they filched with a duplicate in Fool's Gold. Desperate, the Mintavian treasurer, Sir X. Checker, then called in Scrooge McDuck and his gold-sensitive nose to tell the good coins apart from the bad and track down the crooks, which he succeeded in, as a result of which feat he was knighted by the King.
