Description[]
After Donald Duck was stranded on an asteroid by Scrooge McDuck in 1960, he discovered a number of tall mushroom-like, light orange things. He was initially intent on eating them, but, upon further inspection, realized that they weren't mushrooms at all, but instead jellyfish-like aliens with a pair of staring eyes each. They did not appear aggressive towards the Earthling, but simply inquisitive; however, their eerie appearance was enough for Donald to flee and attempt to hide in a cavern, where he met another alien.
Behind the scenes[]
The Mushrooms appear briefly in the 1960 story Uncle Scrooge's Money Rocket. Whether they are sentient is not clarified.
