Nightmare on Bear Mountain

Nightmare on Bear Mountain is a comic story written by Steve Behling, pencilled by Antonello Dalena and Danilo Loizedda, and inked by Cristina Stella. Taking place in the 2017 Continuum, featuring Scrooge McDuck, Donald Duck, Dewey Duck, Launchpad McQuack and Mrs Beakley, as well as the debuts of Somnambulo and the Sleepwalkers. Della Duck is also mentioned.

Description[]

When Scrooge leaves McDuck Manor suddenly and without explanation, Dewey soon follows with ]Mrs. Beakley and Launchpad in tow. They find Scrooge holed up on Bear Mountain and determined that they should leave him in peace. His reasoning soon becomes evident, as an old score stands between him and an older foe…

The story's setting and title title reference Christmas on Bear Mountain (1947), the first comic story ever to feature the Scrooge McDuck of the Prime Universe.
