Norman the Raven is a sentient talking raven.
Description[]
Norman is a talking raven and Grimhilde's familiar; the witch appears to mostly keep him around for decorum's sake and he doesn't seem to help her all that much, even being rather frightened of her. Nonetheless, Norman picked up several magic spells from his mistress, such as a rare incantation to turn anything to gold for a while.
Behind the scenes[]
He first appeared in 1937 in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. He is officially nameless but is nicknamed 'Norman' in homage to Norman Fergusson, who animated him in the 1937 film.
