Passe-moi l'ciel, whose Dutch title Oh! Lieve hemel can be rendered in English as Oh! Good Heavens! (whereas the French title is an untranslatable pun), is a non-Disney comic series originally created by Stuf and Janry for Le Journal de Spirou.

Description[]

The series is a comical take on the classic Christian-slanted view of the Afterlife, taking place in an extremely mundane version of the classic fluffy-cloud Heaven, where Saint Peter at the Pearly Gates is little more than a bored civil servant sitting at a computer. Each one-pager usually features a new dead soul coming up to Saint Peter, with some joke or quirk ensuing; other strips occasionally feature the series' equally-dull vision of Hell or of the Grim Reaper.

Following the death of Stuf in 2015, the series existed in a sort of limbo, but was eventually revived by Janry (now both writer and artist) in 2020. This revamped form of Oh! Good Heavens! briefly crossed over with the Disney universe in February of 2020 for a special animation-themed issue of the Journal de Spirou with a story where the Seven Dwarfs end up in front of Saint Peter's desk.
