Oolated Squiggs are a popular dish from Duckburg.

DescriptionEdit

Oolated squiggs are a canned food, and, as their name implies, they are a type of fish known as squiggs that have been oolated. The Phishkisser Brothers are Duckburg's greatest manufacturers of oolated squiggs. At some point prior to 2001, Mouseton-based inventor Clarence Coot also invented an Electronic Squigg De-Oolater.

Behind the scenes Edit

First appearing as a background gag in 1946's Turkey Trouble, this Carl Barks creation was picked up by Don Rosa, who made several references to oolated squiggs in his stories (most notably in Oolated Luck), and, later on, several other authors.
