Panchito "Pistoles" Romero Miguel Junipero Francisco Quintero Gonzalez III, better known as simply Panchito Pistoles, is an anthropomorphic rooster.
Panchito Pistoles is a wandering adventurer most often seen in his birth nation of Mexico. Panchito, who rides a horse known as Señor Martinez, is known for being very trigger-happy, hence his nickname of 'Pistoles', though he mostly shoots in the air out of excitement as opposed to aiming at anything in particular. Despite this dangerous quirk, Panchito is also good friends with Donald Duck and José Carioca; together, the three of them form a group known as the Three Caballeros. Like José, Panchito seems unaware of Donald's clumsiness and bad luck and only sees the best in him, sometimes to ridiculous extents.
Behind the scenes
Though he was created for the 1945 feature film The Three Caballeros, Panchito actually made his debut two years earlier, in a 1943 written story entitled La Piñata.
