Pessimist's Fog Ship is an intelligent Fog Ship of the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids. Created as a prototype by the Department of Transportation and Department of Technological Advancement, it proved too independent-minded to be of much use as a vehicle, leading to that area of research being discontinued. The Fog Ship was given over to Pessimist-242 with the reasoning that as any Cupid who was assigned the reckless Ship would complain, they might as well send it to Pessimist, who would have complained anyway. The Ship and its pilot share a mind-link through their respective Positronic Brains, allowing the Ship to always know where Pessimist is — for all the good it does either.
