Pliny the Elder or Gaius Plinius Secundus was a Roman author, naturalist, and natural philosopher, as well as naval and army commander of the early Roman Empire, and personal friend of the emperor Vespasian .

Pliny the Elder once wrote about Emperor Nero flooding the Circus Flaminius and staging battles between Tentyrutes and a special kind of crocodile.

The library of Tralla La has a mansucript written by Pliny the Elder in 73 AD, 6 years before his death. In Volume XIII, Page MCVI in the last paragraph of the manuscript, there is a fact that is not in the Junior Woodchuck Manual and Reservoir of Inexhaustible Knowledge
