Description[]
Formerly a scientist working with the Horde of the Violet Hare, kooky Professor Scarper conceived of a plan to use chemicals to mutate the members of the Horde into actual giant, purple hares. He was, fortunately, one of the "expendable" members whom the Horde set free when they were short on funds. Though he had forgotten the Horde itself, Scarper was still obsessed with his project, which he completed with some of the new secret organizations founded by fired members of the Horde, such as the Gang of the Green Gorilla and Mob of the Maroon Magpie.

Scarper makes a brief appearance in the 2018 unofficial story Hare-Brained Hooligans. He is named for Romano Scarpa.
