Prydain was a nation in the Dark Ages.
The Land of Prydain was the name given to a part of Great-Britain more or less corresponding to modern Wales during the Dark Ages. Prydain was ruled by a monarchy, which included such titles as knights and princesses. Prydain was home to many magical creatures, such as the Fair Folk living below, Blue Orcs, witches and the occasional Goblin (such as Creeper). Prydain was nearly taken over by the malevolent Horned King, but was saved by the efforts of Gurgi, Taran and Princess Eilonwy at the last minute.
Behind the scenesEdit
Based on the setting of the books from which it was adapted, Prydain is the setting of the 1985 film The Black Cauldron.
