Puppy Express is a comic one-pager written by Alessandro Sisti and drawn by Stefano De Lellis, with a short in-universe prose introduction presumably also written by Sisti. The story features Dickie Duck, an unknown man and his dogs Diesel and Turbo.
Plot[]
Dickie Duck is always ready to launch herself into a new activity and today, she finds that her latest job as a delivery-girl interferes with her agreement to walk someone's dogs. But isn't there some way to reconcile the two?
Continuity[]
- The introduction has Dickie say that "Like [she] said, she does any kind of jobs that people need done”. This places this text in the continuity of an earlier, prose-only feature printed in the same book, Disney Parade #41, Dickie at Work (2004).
Behind the scenes[]
Puppy Express was created for, and first printed in, the Italian Disney Parade #41, a book dedicated entirely to Dickie Duck as a companion piece for the release of a collectible Dickie Duck statuette. It was one of two such comics, the other being Say Cheese. Neither has ever been printed in English officially, but an unofficial scanlation of the entire Disney Parade issue exists.
