Quacklight (Quacklight in the original Italian) is a comic story written by Roberto Gagnor, penciled by Giorgio Cavazzano and inked by Sandro Zemolin. It features Daisy Duck, Brigitta McBridge, Donald Duck, Scrooge McDuck, and, as figments of Daisy and Brigitta's imagination, Dickie Duck, Ludwig von Drake, Gus Goose, Gladstone Gander, Kildare Coot, Magica De Spell and Fethry Duck.
Plot[]
After watching a romantic vampire movie, Daisy Duck and Brigitta McBridge, convinced that vampires make the perfect boyfriends, decide to write a fantasy book where the beautiful and romantic "Duckella Splash" falls in love with mysterious vampire boy "Donward Ducken". The story (whose plot ends up a spoof-like retread of the Twillight books) is far from a masterpiece, especially as Brigitta keeps trying to write in "good fairy Brigittax" and having her fall in love with Duckella's uncle Scrooge… but will literary critics think otherwise?
