Relative Genius is a comic story drawn by Bill Wright. It features Goofy, Mickey Mouse, and, in their debuts, Gilbert and his mother.


Goofy's young nephew Gilbert is visiting him for the first time, and Goofy isn't yet aware that Gilbert is a precocious genius to dwarf even Ludwig von Drake, who soon makes the poor old goof feel like an idiot…

Behind the scenesEdit

This story was first printed in 1954 in Four Color Comics #562. It was later reprinted in Mickey Mouse #315 (where it received its title Relative Genius), as well as in the Australian Giant #29 and #488.
