Roxanne, sometimes called Rox, is a female anthropomorphic dog.
Description[]
Roxanne is a resident of Spoonerville who attended high school alongside Max Goof, Peter Pete Junior, and others. Max developed a crush on her, and the two began dating in 1995.[1] It is unclear how long they dated, though they were still together while Max was working at the House of Mouse.[2] It seems that their relationship had ended, be it temporarily or permanently, by the time Max graduated high school.[3]
Behind The Scenes[]
Roxanne first appeared in A Goofy Movie, released on April 7th, 1995. Afterwards, she would make occasional appearances in comics and made another animated appearance in an episode of House of Mouse entitled Max's Embarrassing Date.
She was supposed to make an appearance in Mickey’s Twice Upon a Christmas, but due to the technological limitations of the time, she was replaced by Mona. Some fans have hypothesized that Mona and Roxanne are the same character due to their strong resemblance and relationship with Max, but this seems unlikely as Roxanne had already met Goofy in A Goofy Movie while Mona seems to be meeting him for the first time in Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas.
A job applicant first seen in Woo-oo!, an episode of DuckTales 2017 that takes place in the 2017 Continuum, has been noted for her resemblance to Roxanne, though this may just be a coincidence.
