Scrooge McDuck Wikia

Santa's Stormy Visit is a comic story written and drawn by Carl Barks. It features Donald Duck and Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck. Santa Claus is also repeatedly mentioned, although he never actually appears.

Plot[]

Donald Duck and Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck are stuck in a lighthouse (where they now work) on Christmas, much to the triplets' displeasure. While they worry about whether Santa Claus will find them here, Donald has to deal with a bothersome albatross who casts a shadow over the light beam — and, to make things worse, a tropical hurricane approaches…

Behind the scenes[]

This story was first printed in 1947 in the Firestone Giveawat #46, entitled Donald and Mickey: Merry Christmas. It was then reprinted in Donald Duck #334, Walt Disney's Christmas Classics #1, and, of course, in all versions of the Carl Barks Library.
