Description[edit | edit source]
A younger Copper-Colored Cupid asks veteran cherub Colonel-028 why his model of Cupids were so large compared to modern ones.
References[edit | edit source]
- Colonel-028 is a Mark 1 Clockwork Cherub; the current model in March of 2019 are the Marks 17, with the Marks 18 set to be manufactured in the summer. The Mark 4s were huge and monstrous.
- The Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids tried to make mammoths fall in love early on, and, by the 1980's, had moved on to T-rexes (hence the Mark 4s).
Continuity=[edit | edit source]
- The gigantic size of the Mark 4 Cupids was later alluded to in the prose story The Cupid Suggestion Box (2019).
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
This comic strip, the second to feature the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids, who had debuted a month earlier, was released on the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids website. Like the first, it featured Colonel-028 and a second, more modern Cupid, though not the same one.
