Scotty McDuck was an anthropomorphic duck who, if he ever existed, was likely native to an alternate timeline to the 2017 Continuum, as the counterpart of Scotty McDuck.

According to certain accounts, business magnate and adventurer Scrooge McDuck's father was not hard-working, sideburn-sporting Fergus McDuck, but a very different duck known as Scotty McDuck. Webbigail Vanderquack, having spent years researching the history of Clan McDuck, reached the conclusion that Scotty McDuck may have originated from an alternate timeline, which was reflected on her "mystery board" of Clan McDuck.
