Scrooge McDuck's Summer Home is a large “igloo-chateau” located at the North Pole.
Description[]
As was known to Gladstone Gander by December of 1964, Scrooge McDuck, by then, owned a summer home at the North Pole as the ultimate getaway from a heat wave. Gladstone knew its location, and, when Scrooge went missing with the fact that he'd bought an “eskimo suit” from a costume store as the only clue, he took Donald Duck and the triplets there to look for Scrooge in a jet plane he'd won in a cereal contest. However, they did not find Scrooge (who was actually in South Africa), instead accidentally kidnapping an Inuk lookalike of Scrooge's who happened to be passing by.
Behind the scenes[]
Scrooge McDuck's Summer Home appears in the 1965 story Christmas Album.
