Shangri-Lala is a valley in India.

A valley in the Himalayas and part of India, Shangri-Lala is not as hidden or paradisiac as its near-namesake Shangri La, but it is still a pleasant and well-populated area and somewhat secluded. In 1950, and again in 2008, Donald Duck and his nephews traveled to Shangri-Lala and moved on from there in their efforts to locate Unicorns, the last specimens of whom were believed to exist in the nearby summits.

Behind the scenesEdit

Shangri-Lala is the setting of the 1950 story Trail of the Unicorn, its 1951 remake The Trail of the Unicorn and its 2008 sequel Return to Shangri-Lala.
