Description[]
The well-intentioned, dynamic, shotgun-wielding Sheriff of Cackleburg, the “egg capital of the world”, did not have much work at all until 1974, as in his own words, the town hadn't had a crime wave in 99 years by then. That year however, Emil Eagle began stealing chickens as part of a confusing scheme to get golden eggs, and in the end, it was only with the help of Mickey Mouse and Goofy that the mystery was solved and Eagle's diabolical scheme stopped.
Behind the scenes[]
The Sheriff's first and only appearance was in the 1974 comic story, A Whistle in the Dark. He is not given a name.
