Joe from Singapore, better known as Singapore Joe, is a parrot.

Singapore Joe is an unusually intelligent parrot who, whenever someone lists anything, adds "And a guy named Joe from Singapore!". He stowed away on a ship, and was unloaded with the cargo and discovered by Huey, Dewey, and Louie. They took him with them. Once at their house, he proceeded to annoy Donald Duck and generally cause chaos, at one point biting Tabby's tail. Eventually, Donald kicked him and Huey, Dewey and Louie out of the house, but he stayed in Duckburg, though he was occasionally seen trying to get back to Singapore by hitchiking.

Behind the scenes

Singapore Joe first appeared in the story Singapore Joe by Carl Barks. He later appeared in two of Barks' paintings: A 1934 Belchfire Runabout and A Holiday in Duckburg.
