Sir Henry Trotter is an anthropomorphic gander.
A wealthy elderly nobleman (wealthy enough to be part of Duckburg's Millionaires Club), Sir Henry Trotter is also an avid explorer who spent years looking for the lost city of Shapur. He finally found it, but has his minds erased by its guardian with the Scepter of Shapur; he came back to civilization with a book of notes he didn't remember writing, which he assumed he'd written while suffering from jungle fever. Sir Henry made his way back to Duckburg, where both Scrooge McDuck and Flintheart Glomgold perused his notes and decided to seek out Shapur for themselves…
Behind the scenes
Sir Henry Trotter only ever appeared in the 2017 story The Secret of Shapur.
His name is likely based on the phrase "globe-trotter", as fitting for an explorer. Coincidentally, this name is similar to two famous protagonists of children's literature James Henry Trotter (from Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach) and Harry Potter (from Joanne Katherine Rowling's eponymous novels).
