Sitting High is a comic story written and drawn by Carl Barks. It features Donald Duck and Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck, as well as Snarlin Grando, Brigitte Van Doren, Tallin De Saddle, Jayne Girlsfield and Gasmore Gravytrain.
Donald Duck, surrounded by the rich and famous, laments that he isn't a proper star, just a laughingstock, his bad luck stopping anyone from truly taking worthy notice of him. His kindly nephews decide to try and make Donald a star by replicating the way various celebrities started their rise to fame… but of course, it is far from working as expected! This story was first printed in 1961 in Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #245. It was then reprinted in Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #460, as well, of course, as in the various versions of the Carl Barks Library, as well as in the Australian Walt Disney's Comics #179 and #302.
