Snipe Hunt is a comic story written by Tom Yakutis and drawn by the Jaime Diaz Studio. It features Mickey Mouse, Morty and Ferdie Fieldmouse, and, in their debuts, Missouri Mickey, Missouri Goofy and Maxwell Street Pete.
Plot[]
Mickey Mouse tells his nephews Morty and Ferdie Fieldmouse about the time their great-great-great-great-uncle Missouri Mickey foiled a con job by one of Peg-Leg Pete's own ancestors, the slimy Maxwell S. Pete.
Behind the scenes[]
This story was first published in September of 1988 in the Brazilian Mickey #468. It was printed in English in 1991 in Mickey Mouse Adventures #15.
Interestingly, it was the first story of an aborted series dealing with Mickey's ancestors, entitled Mickey's Family Album. Only one materialized, Minuteman Mickey.
