The Solution is a chemical substance.
Description[edit | edit source]
The Solution, a mix of "two grams of myrrh of Chaldee, one jigger of oil of Assyrian artichokes, two squeezes of sap of Dead Sea Cattails, and one fraction of a thunderbolt" (the latter being made to course through the solution after the dust of the dehydrated individual is added), was the way the ancient Persians of Itsa Faka who had been dried by Radium Vapor could be revived an arbitrarily long time later. It was rediscovered in 1950 by the Mad Scientist as part of his efforts to divine the secrets of the vapor itself.
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The Solution appears prominently in the 1950 story In Ancient Persia.
