Son of Bambi Meets Godzilla is the sequel to the notorious unlicensed parody of Disney cartoons and the Godzilla franchise, Bambi Meets Godzilla. A CGI cartoon short written and directed by Eric Fernandes, it features the son of the original cartoon's version of Bambi and the same version of Godzilla.


Thirty years ago, the "confrontation" between Godzilla and Bambi ended in tragedy. But today, when the lizard tyrant returns, the Son of Bambi is prepared…


  • Released for the film's 30th anniversary, purports itself to be a sequel to Bambi Meets Godzilla (1969), although its events are, in some respects, hard to square with those of the original, which saw Bambi seemingly dying as a fawn, before he could father any children.

Behind the scenesEdit

This satirical short, created and released in 1999, furthered the original's parody of Toho's Godzilla sequels pitting Godzilla against various monsters, this time adopting the format of monster movie seuqels such as Son of Frankenstein and Son of Dracula.

As the direct sequel to an ostensibly non-canonical production, this short is obviously not considered canonical on this Wiki either.
