Spirit Photography is a theme park photolocation attraction in Disneyland Paris. A companion to Phantom Manor and the medium for the release of The Mysterious Chronicle, it features the Phantom and James Collins.
While Phantom Manor remains closed by order of the Sheriff of Thunder Mesa, town photographer James Collins has set up equipment for "spirit photography" in order to capture the image of any spooks who may have escaped the house on Boot Hill. While Collins is away, guests are invited to use his equipment to print out their own pictures, which come out with a certain ghost standing by their side… and leave with their own "personalized" copy of the town newspaper, The Mysterious Chronicle!
- The medium of release for The Mysterious Chronicle (2018), Spirit Photography ties in with the in-universe storyline explaining the closure of Phantom Manor (1992) between April of 2018 and May of 2019, and notably the closure of the house by the Sheriff of Thunder Mesa, seen in the live-action webcast Phantom Manor Closing: Strange Phenomena Observed (2018).
Behind the scenesEdit
A themed photolocation, Spirit Photography was opened in the Spring of 2018 to keep some active Phantom Manor-related attraction in the park whilst the main ride itself was closed down for refurbishments.
