Magica De Spell allegedly attended Starvard University for a time after leaving the Aluminati Charm School of Salem. While passing Gladstone Gander as her date the warlock “Gladalf the Green” to get him into the Annual Aluminati Alumni Ball, she claimed that they had met at Starvard.

Its name is obviously a pun on Harvard University.
