Description
The Stranger was an elderly homeless wanderer and hitchhiker whom Phineas encountered shortly before he defeated the Carnie and joined Gus and Ezra to become the trio who, in undeath, would come to be known as the Hitchhiking Ghosts. A wise and mysterious man, the Stranger seemed to know everything about Phineas's dark past, even though Phineas had never met him before. The Stranger and Phineas never crossed paths again, but the Stranger did learn of the many later adventures of the trio.
Behind the scenes
The Stranger appeared in the 2016 live-action film A Hitchhiker's Tale, of which he is the narrator. His nature remains ambiguous throughout.
