The Summoner's Apprentice was a human man.
This young man was the apprentice of a charlatan from the 16th century, this supposed sorcerer claimed that he could summon ghosts and spirits from the beyond (for a price), an effect actually obtained thanks to smoke-and-mirror effects such as a primitive magic-lantern. Being somewhat lazy, the apprentice fell asleep during a nighttime "performance" before Benvenuto Cellini, a famous Italian sculptor, though his master still managed to convince Cellini of the reality of his powers.
Behind the scenesEdit
The Apprentice first appeared in flashbacks in the 1957 story Mickey Mouse in Magic Land.
