TaleSpin is an animated TV series set in a world of anthropomorphic animals. Notably, the star of the show and at least three recurring characters-Captain Baloo, Shere Khan, and Louie-are alternate versions of characters from Disney's The Jungle Book animated film.

Synopsis

Baloo the Bear stars in an adventurous comedy of love and conflict with his friend Kit Cloudkicker. The leisure-loving pilot loses his freight business and beloved cargo plane, the Sea Duck, and is forced to work for entrepreneur Rebecca Cunningham as part of Higher for Hire. With Kit as his navigator, Baloo sets out on various (mis)adventures in an effort to earn the money needed to buy back his plane and, as he sees it, his freedom. The pair are joined in these escapades by Rebecca and her adventurous daughter Molly; Louie, orangutan owner of Louie's place; and Wildcat, Higher for Hire's kindhearted yet often clueless mechanic. Unfortunately, they also face their fair share of perils, including the ruthless tycoon Shere Khan; a band of fearsome Sky Pirates led by Don Karnage; the militaristic nation of Thembria; and a host of other enemies and obstacles.
