The Cat Came Back is an unofficial comic story written and drawn by Sarah Jolley. It features Magica De Spell, Gladstone Gander, Scrooge McDuck, Daisy Duck, a Beagle Boy, and, in their debut, Rag-Ear and Mila Alexeev.

Plot[edit | edit source]

Stuck in Duckburg and penniless after a scheme went particularly awry, Magica De Spell uses the last trick up her sleeve to get a good meal and a place to sleep: she turns herself into a cat and gets herself adopted by a bystander… That bystander happens to be Gladstone Gander, and, unsurprisingly, shenanigans ensue.

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

This story is one of a series of unofficial homages to the characters written and drawn by Sarah Jolley (author of the acclaimed comic The Property of Hate). It was released in 2018 for free on the Internet.

It contains (among other things) a reference to Kitty-Go-Round.
