The Collected Adventures of Isabella Finch was the only entertainment book a young Scrooge McDuck could afford on his earnings as a shoeshine boy. The book, of which Scrooge treasured his copy forever after, was a formative influence on Scrooge, being a (largely truthful!) description of the adventures of legendary explorer Isabella Finch, one of the founders of the Junior Woodchucks. Among the adventures detailed therein were her defeat of the Fever Beast of Tibet and of the Swiss Swarmy of Microbeesia.
