The End of the Rainbow is an unofficial comic story written and drawn by Sarah Jolley. It features Gladstone Gander, Donald Duck, Scrooge McDuck, Magica De Spell, John D. Rockerduck, Emil Eagle, the Beagle Boys (including Blackheart Beagle), Gyro Gearloose, Ludwig von Drake, Brigitta MacBridge, Grandma Duck, Gus Goose, Daisy Duck, Jeeves, Little Helper, Ms. Quackfaster, Moby Duck, Kildare Coot, Clara Cluck, April, May, and June, Flintheart Glomgold, Matilda McDuck, Seafoam McDuck, Sir Eider McDuck, Sir Stuft McDuck, Sir Roast McDuck, Sir Quackly McDuck, Malcolm McDuck, Downy O'Drake, Fergus McDuck, Panchito Pistoles, Señor Martinez, José Carioca, Nestor, Douglas McDuck, Whitewater Duck, Goldie O'Gilt, and Dickie Duck along with various McDuck Lab technicians. Description[]
An enormous meteor is on course to destroy the Earth, and Scrooge has called an emergency meeting to discuss ways to stop it. Gladstone Gander, incidentally, had a seemingly prophetic dream the night before in which he was the last person on a seemingly destroyed Earth. A plan is formed (with the help of clues from Gladstone's dream), and Donald Duck, Gyro Gearloose, Magica De Spell, and Little Helper are sent up to space to destroy the meteor with Omnisolve… but will they be able to stop it in time? Or is the best Gladstone's luck can do just to keep him alive as the last man on Earth?
